01/04/2012 - 12/31/2012	EXERCISES	LINE DANCING Line dancing is back! Join us on Tuesday afternoons with Paula Stewart. Stay for one or both classes. Arrive early since this class has between 50-70 participants. Cost: $3.00 Beginners: 1:00-2:00 pm Intermediate: 2:00-3:00 pm
01/05/2012 - 04/20/2012	NEW!!	WATER AEROBICS on Friday Morinings $20.00 for an 8-week session Session I: January 6th to February 24th Session II: March 2nd to April 20th Transportation will be provided. The bus will leave the Community Center at 8:30 am and will return at 10:30 am (just in time for lunch at the Community Center). This class is one hour in duration and held at the Alsip Doubletree Hotel. You must provide your own towel. If you register for both classes, you can save $5.00! 01/15/2012 - 05/15/2012	NEW!!	SEWING CLASSES: Fridays from 1:00-4:00 pm $5.00 per class. Join Chicago sewing instructor Barbara Summage as she helps students learn practical sewing skills. This class is for beginners who have always wanted to learn how to sew - AND also for those that would like help on a specific project. Industrial sewing machines are provided or you may bring your own. Classes will cover: sewing basics; fast and easy clothing; holiday items; alterations and/or designs; and commercial pattern instruction. Reserve your machine today. Class size is limited. 01/15/2012 - 05/15/2012	NEW!!	CROCHET CLASSES: Fridays from 1:00-4:00 pm $5.00 per class. For Beginners. Class size is limited. This workshop style class is taught by Chicago Fashion Design Instructor Karen Scruggs. Karen will teach students the basics of crochet design. Students will have delvoped crochet stitch samples & started on their own crochet project upon course completion. Classes will include: starting chain & finishing techniques; basic crochet stitches; how to read & understand patterns & symbols; and, latest crochet resources & publications.
