Our office hours are Monday Wednesday and Friday from 8am - noon. The office manager "Carla" would be happy to assist you with any questions you may have. If you would like to see the township building or need something notarized,you must make an appointment by calling 217-546-0451 REMINDER: Township meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at 7pm at the township hall.
RECYCLING BIN.
The recycling bin at the township hall does not generate money, it costs the township money to provide this service to our residents. If you know of non-Gardner persons using this recycling facility, please remind them to take their recyclables into Springfield. This service is very expensive, and if used by non-Gardner residents, may be discontinued. If you see someone there checking names and addresses, it is to discourage non-Gardner residents from filling up our bin.
GARDNER GOLDEN CLUB
Meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month. All Gardner Township residents 50 and better are invited to attend. Meetings are from 1:30 to 3:30 but plan to arrive by 1:00PM to have a snack before the meeting. For 2010, the first meeting of the month will be a potluck, and the second meeting will have lunch furnished. (Drinks and tableware provided for potlucks). SEE YOU THERE!
